The Ecto-2
(Vehicle retired)
The pride and joy of Ghostbusters: Tampa District and our vehicle of choice for most excursions that dont require off-roading.
It is a highly modified '59 Caddilac Miller Meteor, just like her sister vehicle, the Ecto-1, used by Ghostbusters NY.
Tampa District aquired this vehicle shortly after our original vehicle (A truck knick-named "the Ecto-Hooptie") Was destroyed
during our first big bust for the city. Peter Venkman of Ghostbusters NY gave it to us saying it was the Ecto-1a,
but we later found out it wasnt. In Dr. Venkman's words it was an "Authorized Knock-off" made by Universal Studios for
their attractions. However, its still a valuable Ecto, so we kept it on as our company car with the new name Ecto-2.
She boasts all the standard sensor equipment (slightly modified to withstand the Florida heat) and a new car-mounted
P.K.E. meter that allows us to scan for spectres up to a mile away from us in any direction.
