The Ecto-2
(Vehicle retired)

The pride and joy of Ghostbusters: Tampa District and our vehicle of choice for most excursions that dont require off-roading. It is a highly modified '59 Caddilac Miller Meteor, just like her sister vehicle, the Ecto-1, used by Ghostbusters NY.

Tampa District aquired this vehicle shortly after our original vehicle (A truck knick-named "the Ecto-Hooptie") Was destroyed during our first big bust for the city. Peter Venkman of Ghostbusters NY gave it to us saying it was the Ecto-1a, but we later found out it wasnt. In Dr. Venkman's words it was an "Authorized Knock-off" made by Universal Studios for their attractions. However, its still a valuable Ecto, so we kept it on as our company car with the new name Ecto-2.

She boasts all the standard sensor equipment (slightly modified to withstand the Florida heat) and a new car-mounted P.K.E. meter that allows us to scan for spectres up to a mile away from us in any direction.

The Ecto-2 (continued)

Mick Nielson continued to modify the car to make it a bit more "stylized". Once again, trying to make Tampa District stand out among the Ghostbusters franchises by having our vehicle be quite original, while still staying true to the roots of our beloved company. The new roof-rack equipment is top of the line and the new painjob gives it more of a callback to its heritage as a hearse.
